AER Alpha 40 Combo Amp

The Alpha features one input with combined 1/4” and XLR jack. This accepts mic or pickup inputs and provides 24V phantom power. A 1/4” input socket selects between Line or Piezo settings and provides a Color switch. Three-band EQ, digital reverb and a mic stand adapter are integral, and jacks are furnished for Tuner, Headphones, Line, and DI outputs as well as Effects on/off footswitch. The 40W hybrid amp (20Hz ~ 20kHz) drives a dual cone 8” speaker. A gig bag is provided; the Alpha weighs just 14.33 lbs and is basically a cube, just 10” per side!

With the Alpha, AER redefines the starting point of acoustic amplification. Based on the experience with the Compact 60, AER developed an even smaller lightweight model that has no difficulties living up to the rigors of the road.

Coming with the usual quality standard (without renunciation of High-End), the Alpha is a full sized member of the AER product family. Open sounding and quick in response, this amp masters different ranges and is thus not afraid of bigger instruments.
