With the turn of the year, however, a lot changed in this sector: As from January 1st 2006, professional users are allowed to use wireless microphones within the frequency ranges 790-814 as well as 838-862 MHz. Therefore, operating within the above frequency ranges, wireless microphones do not have to be registered anymore.
