Amati
Amati started production in 1945 in Kraslice / Czech Republic, in the former Keilwerth plant. The workforce consisted largely of the men from Keilwerth, Hüller and Kohlert. Till about 1955 Amati used the former model names of Keilwerth. After several lawsuits Amati then decided to use own names for their saxophones such as Classic and Classic Super. The Austrian company Musica Steyr had its instrument range “Musica” made by Amati. Meanwhile Amati is well known for its saxophones; ASS = Sopran, AAS = Alt, ATS = Tenor und ABS = Bariton as Amati-Denak. Today the company Amati-Denak is globally known to manufacturer wind instruments under the brands Amati, Stowasser und V.F.Cerveny. Beside the wind instruments like : flutes (Amati AFL 214, Amati AFL 314, Amati AFL 603, Amati AFL 634), Saxophone (Amati AAS 33, Amati AAS 73CU ´HARMONIE´, Amati AAS 83P ´BRAVOUR´, Amati AAS 83T ´SONATA´, Amati ASS 62II ´DREAM´, Amati ABS 63, Amati ABS 64), Flügelhörner (Amati AFH 601I), Trumpets (Amati ATR 682I, Amati ATR 606IS, Amati ATR 313I), Tiefes Blech (Amati AAH 311, Amati ABH 321), keyed trombone(Amati AVT 371, Amati AVT 376), Trombones (Amati ASL 312, Amati neSL 342) all the way to Tubas (SYMFONIE/, Amati CFB 661-6GPRX), cylindrical and signal instruments as well as spare parts and accessories are made. Amati is also active in other fields, like the refinement of many parts through varnishing or galvanic and the handling of colour sheet metal. Amani-Denk exports instruments to over 50 countries.
