The TR40 features a quarter inch pre-polarised condenser capsule with an omni-directional pickup pattern which delivers a smooth and linear frequency response over 20 Hz - 20 kHz (+/-3 dB). In addition it is capable of withstanding sound pressure levels of up to 140 dB which, along with the other features, makes it a first-choice microphone for both studio and live recording of pianos, choirs and room acoustics.
The TR40 combines phase coherence and extreme frequency linearity, it’s perfect for use as a real-time analyser, automatic Eqs and software-driven measurement programs.
