Crafter - wonderful optic and fair prices
Acoustic guitars by Crafter take after models like the Grand Auditorium by Taylor and Martin. Optically these guitars are characterised by their elegance and great aesthetics. Due to their 45 mm broad neck, fingerpickers can play them quite comfortably. What´s also quite interesting is the so called T-bracing from the patented "American Classics Series". It´s arbor shape guarantees the necessary stability, due to the extremly thin moulded beams, and at the same time, an optimal vibration of the body.
Behind the name Crafter is the remarkable service of one man: HyunKwong Park. At the beginning of the 70s the lutemaker and four employees started to build guitars for the Korean market in the cellar of his home. The sound level of these instruments was so high-classed, that it didn´t take long for international companies to manufacture instruments from SUNG-EUM Music, the name he had firstly given to his company.
In 1986 the junior director, In-Jae Park founded his own label: the brand Crafter was born! Today more than 60.000 guitars leave - what can be called the most modern instrument factory in Asia - every year.
The close cooperation with well-known European and American guitar builders guarantees a wonderful model range in combination with a brilliant price performance ratio.
