It has a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard with simple pearl dot inlays, Geared tuners, a bound mahogany resonator and above all, a smooth, comfortable neck with this addition: THE FINISH IS SATIN. . . just like in the old days - back before improperly applied high gloss lacquers were added that could affect the tone. The Sierra is not pretentious. It has an aura of cosmetic simplicity, yes, but underneath this appearance reside the same high quality components used in the highest priced models. The Sierra is squarely aimed at the mid-range pocket book and is for the person who enjoys outstanding tone and playability without the gloss and glitter.
