Gibson SG Standard HC
In 1961 Gibson changed the form of his Les Paul models quite radically. The body became lighter and flatter und got a double cutaway. This new Les Paul was later called SG (for Solid Guitar) and became the trademark of rock ´n roll in the 60s.
Although the original fatter Les Pauls returned a few years later, the SG was still able to create a large fan base and till today this unique design has kept hold of itself on the large stages of rock ´n roll.
The SG Standard has a 490R and a 498T pick-up with chromed caps on the black hit-board (large edition), neck binding and trapeze-fret-board inlay
