Light effects
Do you want to party? Then you need appealing and atmospheric light. By using light effects you can create an unforgetable event. In order to gain an overview of the different light effects, we have summed up the most popular:
Light Effects
The product range runs from inexpensive spotlights for your house-party right up to professional club-effects. There are projectors, rotating diascopes, scanners, flame-effects and many many more. Most light effects react to acoustic signals, e.g. the light rays move to the music or react to noises like claps. You can normally get a lot of exciting, music-based programmes. And...what´s also quite interesting in this field are the the new long-life, low-current LED-effects.
Police Lights
One of the most inexpensive classics is the police light. The funny "alarm-effect" is produced by rotaing a reflector around a bright light. Alongside classic blue, police lights also come in red, green and yellow.
Strobes
The well-known strobe or strobeoscope, flashlight or photoflash is an apparatus that sends out light-flashes in different intervals. The joke of this effect is that movements in dark rooms seem to become sequences of standing pictures - comparable to a flip-book. The speed of the flash can be adjusted continuously.
Disco Balls
Another classics in the area of light effects is the mirror- or disco ball. Since "Saturday Night Fever" everyone knows the disco ball with it´s hollow inside that, depending on size, is laminated with hundreds or thousands of mirror plates. A mirror ball is fastend to the ceiling by an electric motor and irridated by one of the headlights. The beams of light are dispersed by the number of mirrors and reflected into all directions. On the dancefloor you can see several moving light spots.
