Powermixers - The Classical Singing Systems

The youngest representations of these systems show that an old subject like the well-known power-mixer (a mixer incl. amplifier) can be reanimated. At the beginning of their time the powermixers used to be heavy journeymen with spartan EQ and meagre effect devision. Today parametric channel-EQs, digital effect units and graphic-EQs belong to the basic equipment of the modern powermixer. If like in the Behringer PMP-Powermixer light combinatorial circuit amplifiers are used, then we can even talk about a renaissance. In addition to modern speakers with light-weighted neodym-equipment this equals a light, compact PA for rehearsal rooms, clubs and bars.
