Wireless-Mics/-Sets
These complete sets consist of a hand-held transmitter with a cabled capsel known from the microphone area and an adequate reciever. Nearly every reciever is equipped with the so called "true diversity"-technology.
Significant for this technology are the two aerials of the reciever which efface a very disagreeable phenomenon: Even if you have the most expensive car radio, it can happen that all of a sudden when you are standing at the traffic lights you only hear a rushing noise. If the car rolls on 2cm the transmission is clear again.
The assignment of sender-systems in the stage field can also cause interferences due to extern influences like reflections or shadows of buildings or metal pieces. If you put up two aerials, this drop-out can be eliminated meaningfully, even if the aerials are not far apart. An electric circuit is the precondition. It switches from one aerial to the other.
The true diversity technology also has two different recievers which are supplied by one aerial each.
