The PG 48 is a powerful microphone for vocal applications. Its frequency response has been tailored for speech and karaoke. Featuring a cardioid pickup pattern, this mic picks up sound mostly from the front. This reduces significantly the risk of unwanted feedback even in high volume settings. Its dynamic capsule has a simple, rugged coil which handles high volume levels without distortion. The neodymium magnet ensures high output levels. Handling noise is minimised by an integral shock mount and its rugged metal construction ensures a long life cycle. The PG 48 has an On/Off switch for control on stage and a durable steel mesh ball grille. In addition, it has been equipped with an integral popfilter which reduces explosive breath sounds and wind noise. The microphone is supplied with a 4,5 m cable and a break proof microphone clamp as well as a protective pouch.
