The PG 56, from the Shure Performance Gear Series, has been specifically designed for snare drum and tom miking. Its integral, swivel mount which mounts to the microphone stand or to the included A50D mount ensures easy placement of the microphone on the instrument. The PG 56 features a cadioid capsule with neodymium magnets, along with a shock mount which reduces impact sound. Its dynamic capsule with a simple, rugged coil also handles extremely high volume levels without distorting. The microphone is supplied with a 4.5 m cable, A50D mount and a storage bag.
