Tascam DR-07 MKII

The Tascam DR-07mk2 stereo handheld digital recorder improves Tascam's best-selling DR07 portable digital recorder wiith higher recording quality, adjustable cardioid condenser microphones, and reverb effects. The Tascam DR-07mkII stereo recorder features a pair of adjustable built-in cardioid condenser microphones which can be moved for an X-Y position for tight stereo imaging to a wider stereo A-B spaced microphone pair.

Record up to 24-bit 96kHz WAV and broadcast standard BWF files, adding a reverb effect for a polished sound with the Tascam DR-07mkII digital handheld recorder. The Tascam DR-07mkII handheld digital recorder shares the simple user interface of the Tascam DR-05, including the Quick Menu and two-button record. The Tascam DR-07mkII digital recorder also features a 1/8-inch microphone input with plug-in power, a 1/8-inch line input for recording line-level sources like mixers, preamps, and CD players.

The Tascam DR-07mkII Linear PCM Recorder records to microSD and microSDHC media, and ships with a 2GB microSD card, plus you can transfer recordings to your computer at a high speed via the mini USB 2.0 jack and cable. Other features of the Tascam DR-07mkII digital handheld recorder include Level Align function to prevent uneven volume levels during playback through the 1/8-inch headphone output or built-in monitor speaker, peak reduction to set the optimum recording level automatically, timer recording, a long battery life of 17.5 hours of linear 44.1kHz 16-bit WAV recording, Variable Spped Audition for selectable playback speed from 50% to 150%, and looping during playback for practice. The Tascam DR-07mkII recorder also has a convenient tripod mount.

A seperate power supply for the A/D and D/A converters, sperate analog and digital circuit boards, and a low impedance circuit design reduce noise in the Tascam DR-07mkII recorders improving recording quality. The Tascam DR-07mkII digital recorder ships with 2GB microSD card in the unit, 2 AA alkaline batteries, 80cm USB cable, and owner's manual.
