Alexander Amnesia · Guitar Effect
The Amnesia Delay from Alexander pedals is an "Analog Voiced" Digital Delay. Real analog delays work with bucket brigade chips which delay the signal. These chips contribute much to the typical sound of an analog delay, the echo repeats are always dull and dirty. The Amnesia Delay simulates this characteristic sound very convincingly, it also has a modulation unit with which the echo repeats can be enriched with chorus or vibrato. A unique feature is the ability to simulate different, classic bucket brigade chips. The following models are available: MN3005 (used in early Boss DM-2 versions), Reticon SAD 4096 (in the 70's a high-end chip, used by Electro Harmonix, DOD, ADA and MXR) and the Panasonic MN3208 (late low noise version , used by Electro Harmonix and Boss). The Alexander pedal Amnesia offers a trip to the Analog Delay history, classical sound with no distractions in contemporary design.
