Cameo DVC 4 · Controller Software
With the Cameo DVC 4 interface and the associated D 4 software, DMX-compatible lighting devices can be comfortably controlled by the PC and Mac. In Live mode, the plug-and-play interface offers 512 DMX channels, for computer-free use as a standalone with 256 channels, programmed lightshows can be copied into the integrated flash memory. The interface has a mini-USB port as input, a 3-pin DMX output and is powered by the USB output of the computer. Three buttons allow you to program and dimming in stand-alone mode, which requires a commercially available 5V USB power supply. The free Cameo D 4 software package contains over 15,000 device libraries and a ScanLibrary editor for creating and editing your own device profiles. Individual DMX device types can be selected, grouped together and added to the Lightshow in a 2D view. Dynamic scenes can be created, arranged and superimposed, the palette function allows a light control without fader movements, and the XEEL engine produces hundreds of different, exciting effects. The software includes an extensive toolbox for live edits, an audio analyzer and a MIDI clock for synchronizing light and music tempo, as well as a 3D visualization of the programmed lightshow in real-time. The screen layout can be tailored to your individual requirements, and the free app "Easy Remote" makes it possible to control the screen with iPhones, iPads and Android devices via WiFi. The DVC 4 interface and the kostelose D4 software are developed by Daslight especially for Cameo. The current version of the software is available on the download page of the Adam Hall Group: WWW.
