New York guitarist John D'Angelico has become immortal with his legendary jazz guitars. His company, which was founded in 1932, produced only 35 instruments a year in painstaking craftsmanship from the best materials until his early death in 1964. D'Angelico guitars have set standards in terms of sound, workmanship and looks, and are only rarely available at very high prices on the market. In 2011, D'Angelico was revived and since then has been producing high-quality jazz guitars in the tradition of the company founder John D'Angelico.
