ESP LTD EC-401 MGS · Electric Guitar

EMG pickups, flag inlays and a glued neck are the outstanding features of the LTD EC-401. A lightweight with back shaping.

Hardly a manufacturer of electric guitars is so closely linked to Hard Rock and Heavy Metal as ESP and hardly any manufacturer has penetrated this market in recent years as heavily as ESP. Since the founding of the company in 1975, when it only produced spare parts for electric guitars and the beginning of the production of own guitars in 1983 to the present time, ESP was always on the pulse of time. The breakthrough came in 1989 when George Lynch, as well as Kirk Hammett, launched the first signature models on the market. Since then, the list of endorsers has become more and more extensive and as early as 1996, ESP created the LTD brand, under whose names in Korea and Indonesia cheaper and scaled-down versions of most ESP models are produced. Today ESP / LTD occupies one of the leading positions in the genre Hard'n Heavy Guitars.

ESP LTD EC Series
The EC guitars correspond with the ESP Eclipse models where you will find in contrast to the historical original an arched shaped back and an extravagant cutaway, very typical for ESP! Flag inlays and other features such as EMG or Seymour Duncan pick-ups.

The Korean copies of the expensive ESP guitars are built with the same care and technical know how as the signature or standard series from the japanese noble brand LTD by ESP.
Since the founding of the company in 1975 by Hisatake Shibuya, ESP have become a renowned manufacturer of high-end guitars and basses. The list of worldwide ESP endorsers is also impressive. Bands such as Metallica, Rolling Stones, Rammstein, Sepultura oder Children of Bodom are just a few who are role models for many musicians.
