The so-called Gibson "Space Age Guitars", radical, futuristic guitar signatures such as the Explorer, Flying V and the modern, have emerged. At the time of their launch, this guitar was a total flop and soon disappeared from the market. It was only the coming hard rock and heavy metal boom in the late 70s that helped these guitars to late fame. The Gibson Explorer 2016 EB continues this tradition, the large mahogany body combined with powerful ceramic pickups delivers the ultimate rock sound.
