Gibson SG Standard 2017
In 1961 Les Paul radically changed the shape of his guitars. The lighter and flatter body became two sharp cutaways, the New "Les Paul" was later named SG (for solid Guitar) and became the signature feature for rock ´n´roll during the 60s. Even though the initial fatter Les Paul returned years later, the SG was so popular that this unique design still holds its place on the big stages of Rock ´n´roll.
The SG Standard is a no-frills rock axe- no more, no less. The lightweight mahogany body with low-cut cutaways and flat, fast neck make it a comfortable stage guitar.
All 2017 Gibson core models are optionally available as a high-performance version. In addition to the G-Force tuning system, these models are offered with Titanium nut and saddles. The necks are about 1.3 mm wider on the first fret, in addition they are provided with a zero fret. Finally a fast access neck facilitates easier playing on the top end frets and the toggle switch has been made extremely robust.

Gibson '57 pickups, the '57 Classic provides warm, full tone with a balanced response, packing that classic Gibson PAF humbucker crunch. Notice this '57 pickups is not in the other models of SG guitars.
Here I get that fat rock'n'roll sound I search for & my opinion: absolute wonderful high-class guitar.
