Greer Amps Ghetto Stomp · Guitar Effect
The Greer Amps Ghetto Stomp pedal is based on an American Amp icon - the legendary Valco Amps. Valco, founded by the former owners of the National Guitar Company in the 30s, presented a variety of acoustic, Reosanator, lap steel and later electric guitars. Another mainstay of the company were small tube amps that were widely used in the 60s in the USA. For many blues, rhythm and blues and rock musicians this small combo was their starter drug. The Greer pedal reproduces this typical sound very convincingly with very good dynamics. The amount of distortion can be dosed well with the guitar's volume knob. With a Telecaster the twang is stunningly there.
