Greer Amps Pork N Beans Boost · Guitar Effect
The Greer Amp Pork and Beans is a contemporary variant of one of the milestones of effects history, the legendary Rangemaster treble booster. The treble booster was in the 60s next to the Fuzz pedals, the only way to blow an amp for distorted sounds. Prominent users of the Range Master were Rory Gallagher, Brian May, Mark Bolan etc. The Pork and Beans pedal uses a NOS germanium transistor for the authentic treble booster sound. Treble Booster can be excellently controlled with the volume control on the guitar, the potentiometer turning back, the sound glassy and clean, you turn the potentiometer on, the amp is blown violently. The Pork and Beans Booster offers classic Treble Boost, a Mid Boost variant that can help thin sounding amps along the way!
