Guitar Amps

Electric guitars and guitar amp always form a unit. The now famous sound is only possible in the combination of both devices. In the early days of guitar amplifiers, basically a clean sound was desired, which was difficult to implement with the then-dominant tube technology. The distortion of the tube were in the early days absolutely undesirable. Today it is still difficult to prove that the guitarist played loud on purpose, to generate the distorted sound, or whether they had to play loud and the distorted sound was created unintentionally - in any case exactly that sound has left its mark on the classic amplifier. When then Marshall brought the first amp with tubes in the preamp on the market, even distorted playing at a low volume was possible.
