There is an enormous range of iOS guitar-effects apps available. The iRig Stomp lets you take these apps onstage in a pedalboard-friendly format, turning your iOS device into a custom stompbox. IK Multimedia designed the iRig Stomp with a univeral 1/8-inch TRS connector, the connection built into most iOS devices, so you can connect your iPad running IK's AmpliTube app or your iPhone equipped with a third-party guitar effects app. As long as the iOS device uses the headphone jack as its I/O, and it will work flawlessly with the iRig Stomp. The iRig Stomp featurese true-bypass switching and is designed to accommodate any input level from hot output active humbuckers to the quieter passive single-coil pickups. The IK iRig Stomp includes a headphone output so you can even use it for silent practice.
