With a feature set very similar to the original DSL100, Marshall has fit upgrades that give you even more control over your sound. A Resonance control replaces the original's fixed Deep switch to dial in your preferred amount of low-end. Other features include a studio-grade digital Reverb instead of original spring, a rear-panel Pentode/Triode switch that reduces the amplifier's power to a club-and-studio-friendly 50 watts, and a bypassable rear-panel Series FX loop. Marshall included a 2-way footswitch for channel switching and Reverb on/off. The Marshall DSL100H features two footswitchable channels: Classic Gain and Ultra Gain. Each channel offers two modes: Clean/Crunch and Lead 1/Lead 2, respectively. With the DSL15H, you can go from glassy Plexi cleans, to JCM800-style high gain and everything in-between. To EQ this Marshall tone, you get shared 5-way EQ with Treble, Middle, Bass, Resonance, and Presence, and a Mid-Shift button for scooped modern metal.
