Mesa Boogie Mark V · Guitar Amp Head

The Mark IV has been the measure of all things in terms of versatility. A disadvantage of the Mark IV, however, was an unclear control panel with countless push/pull potentiometers and controllers, which influenced each other in their effect. Now, on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary, Mesa put a new face on the Mark IV, putting this diversity into a clear and easy-to-use guise and giving him the technical achievements of the past few years. The new Mark V has 3 channels, each with 3 sound modes (Channel 1: Clean/Fat/Tweed, Channel2: Edge/Crunch/Mark I, Channel3: MarkIIC +/MarkIV/Extreme). Each channel has independent gain, treble, mid, bass, presence, reverb, and master pot. The variable power amplifier (10/45/90 watts) and the 8-way footswitch (for channel1 / 2/3 / solo / reverb / FXLoop / EQ / TunerMute) make the Mark V a general-purpose weapon for stage, home and studio. You have to try it!

Mesa Boogie Mark
Everything began for Mesa Boogie with the Mark series. As Randall Smith built his first Boogie MK I in his garage workshop in 1972, he probably had no idea of the success that would come with it. The MK I quickly became the "must have" in the guitar scene, the rest is history! The Mark series is now with the Mark V in the fifth generation significantly due to the logical further development of the Mark Series.
