Roland Boutique TR-09 · Synthesizer
Even more than three decades after its release, the influences of the TR-909 drum machine are still to be heard and felt. The TR-09 from Roland boutique series brings back the legendary TR-909 sound. It has the same panel as the original and produces, thanks to Roland's ACB technology just as much push. Not only are the dimensions and weight of the new version less than the original, the price is also lower. However, that does not change the detailed control features of many drum parameters and the possibility to simply continue playing the loop when switching between recording and playback mode. Even in the studio the TR-09 makes a good figure thanks to its four individual outputs via USB, the trigger function to control external instruments and its USB-MIDI implementation.
The Roland Boutique series is a limited edition module which faithfully recreates the sound of the legendary Roland synthesizers. With highly authentic sounds, the synthesizer are also extremely portable thanks to built-in speaker and batteries. Perfect to have for making music always and everywhere. With the Roland Boutique Series modules you can choose from classic Roland synthesizers such as the JUPITER-8 from 1981, the JX-3P from 1983 or the Juno-106.

Obviously I can only state my own opinion which is subjective so here it is. The TR-09 is a brilliant little drum machine.I will admit I have never owned or heard a real original analog 909 in a live situation, only on sample cds, music tracks and youtube vids etc,but what my old ears are hearing here with the TR-09 is a good enough emulation of the TR-909.
I really think Roland have done a good job, its got all the realtime tweakability but the main thing is it sounds good. All I can say is go to your local music store and have a listen.I am totally happy with this product.
Got it quite a bit cheaper here at Produktiv than anywhere else as well with quick delivery and no problems.
Well done Roland and well done Produktiv.
