VOX AC15CH Head · Guitar Amp Head
On board are an FX loop and tremolo as well as spring reverb, which can be operated with the optional VFS2 foot switch. There is the matching box with 2x12" Celestion G12M Greenback speakers.
For the "classic" British sound we recommend the use of the V212C box with two 12" Celestion G12M Greenback speakers. Separate volume controls are available for the Normal and Top Boost channels. The Top Boost channel also features a Treble and a Bass control. The master section contains a VOX Tone Cut and a master volume control, which allows you to achieve the unmatched VOX sounds - from pearly "clean" to brutal.
What is meant by 'reactive attenuation'?
This is a newly developed attenuation circuit, which measures how much the cab is being driven and optimises the interaction of the box with the amplifier using the VOX Reactor technology. The advantage of this approach is that the sound at home at low volume is just as bold and assertive as with a concert. Such a realistic approach is sought elsewhere in vain.
VOX AC Series
The Vox AC series are the traditional Tube amps in classic dress. Actual variations on the AC can be found in the current series. eg. AC30, AC15, AC10, AC4 as well as others.

Attenuation ProblemGary H on 02.07.2016
The Amp is great, however the Attenuation which is a KEY feature, does not work at all when the speaker impedance is switched to 8 ohms. It will only work when switched to 16 ohm and this is not made clear before purchase. So if your speaker cab is 8 ohms BEWARE
